Anat Cohen Quartet

Anat Cohen is a fresh shot of energy for the clarinet. Popular during the swing era, the clarinet was the preferred instrument of many jazz legends. During the bebop era, it was superseded by the saxophone as the reed instrument of choice. More recently, the influences of Brazilian choros and Old World klezmer have re-introduced the clarinet to the jazz world, and Cohen is leading the charge. Her onstage exuberance is absolutely contagious. 'Claroscuro' is her brand new release.
