Silicon Valley Reads 2013 focuses on "invisible wounds of war." The Library is showing a series of short documentary films about veterans on Mondays in March. AT 6 p.m. in the Redwood Room, see "Wartorn 1861-2010," an HBO film chronicling the effects of stress on military personnel and their families from Civil War through the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. This will be followed by a panel of speakers from United Veterans Council and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
