First known as the leader of the British rock band Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler is also a much-loved solo artist with a new studio album, Get Lucky out this month. After enjoying multi-platinum success with Dire Straits in the '70s, '80s and '90s, Knopfler embarked on a successful solo career.
