What is Real Ale? According to the Oxford English Dictionary it is "a name for draft beer brewed from traditional ingredients, matured by secondary fermentation in the container from which it is dispensed, and served without the use of extraneous carbon dioxide." Real Ale is carbonated naturally in the keg (or cask) that it is served from and is served at cellar temperatures to bring out the full flavor of the beer. Try your favorite beers served in this fashion for a completely new experience. Freshness is the key, so trying these beer the day they are tapped is a real treat.
