For award-winning barbecue at its very best, nothing beats Andy's Bar-B-Que Restaurant and Catering. Ribs, well trimmed and slow cooked over a seasoned oakwood fire; huge baked potatoes, fluffy and tender; and just the right atmosphere make dining at Andy's a memorable experience!
Andy's Bar-B-Que has been a south bay tradition since 1965. Andy's is famous for their good food, huge portions, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere. Andy's success at the barbeque comes from using only quality cuts of meat, delicately seasoning them, and then slow cooking them (up to 18 hours) over an oakwood fire. No wonder "American Way" magazine listed Andy's as one of the nation's "Best BBQ Joints"!

This is one of the better BBQ joints in the area. It has good portions, great flavor, and decent prices. The only reason I deduct a star is to be fair to the other places I've had equally good steak, but a better ambiance. I mean, BBQ doesn't get a whole lot better than Andy's, but it's not a package deal like Forbes' Mill in Los Gatos, or Alexander's in Cupertino.
If you want great meat without needing a reservation or a alot of money, Andy's should be your choice.

This place is one of the few good places left in the bay area. MANY restraunts come and go, but Andy's has survived, and for good reason. One of the best sauces available on some of the best meat ever cooked. Some BBQ places I been to, it almost seems like the place is more proud of thier sauce and seasonings than they are of thier meat; not at Andy's. When yoiu come here you get MEAT! Fresh, Hot, and Never Dry.
Simply Amazing food.
The sides ain't too bad either, Fresh slaw, Smoked beans, Potato Salad, and various other assorted compliments.
Make sure you go on monday, its the only day they offer thier BEEF ribs, and they are well worth it.
