The Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park

The Santa Ana Zoo has a reputation as "The Monkey Zoo".

The collection is primarily neotropic, or South and Central American animals with a focus on rainforest and rare and endangered animals. There are also exhibits with animals from other parts of the world. Explore "The Colors of the Amazon", a walk through aviary, and track the elusive jaguar in the "Exploration Outpost" interactive educational exhibit.

There is a children's farm, the Crean Family Farm, where children can see exotic species of barnyard animals. Take a train ride around the zoo on the "Zoofari Express" train.

The zoo features many special programs, including animal shows, animal and conservation education, lectures, scouting programs, concerts and performances, etc.

Rental facilities are available for birthday parties and events.
