Walters Basin

Walter's Basin is the only restaurant on the waterfront of Squam Lake, in Holderness, New Hampshire. The Walter's Basin seats about fifty persons, with great waterfront ambiance as guests watch the boats in fair weather and the snowmobiles in cold weather. Many guests in summer like to sit along the canal windows and watch the parade of boats traversing from Big Squam Lake to Little Squam Lake. With the windows open and a breeze flowing through the lounge, it's a great break from a hectic or relaxed day, to enjoy a drink and casual food. The dining room offers unparallel lake views in all seasons, and is a most romantic and visually warm experience. Dressed in earth tones, with beech wood garnishes and comfortable seats, the dining room asks to be stayed in for a leisurely visit.
