Cole Swensen reads after a reception in honor of MPC's Founders

Cole Swensen is a native of Marin county and a founding member of the Marin Poetry Center. She is the author of 14 volumes of poetry and a collection of critical essays, books that include finalists for the National Book Award and the Los Angeles Times Book Award. A 2007 Guggenheim fellow, she is the co-editor of the 2009 Norton anthology American Hybrid and the founding editor of La Presse Books, dedicated to translations.
