Paul Smith Trio

Paul Smith, known for spending 20 years as Ella Fitzgerald's pianist and conductor, plays traditional jazz with his Trio at the Grand Annex in San Pedro. A true master of cool jazz, bebop and swing, Smith's career goes beyond his work with Fitzgerald: he worked with Les Paul and Tommy Dorsey, and has recorded with a who's who of classic jazz, including Dizzy Gillespie, Steve Allen, Stan Kenton, Mel Tormé and more.
