Pasta Primavera

for what you pay at olive garden you can get yourself an exceptionally tasty plate of pasta w/ a complimentary soup/salad to start. their chicken parmesan is to die for - two pieces of tender n' juicy chicken breast, lightly breaded and baked to perfection, smothered in marinara sauce and topped with a thick slab of fresh mozarella. this is placed on a bed of cooked spinach (cooked perfectly, i might add!) and served with spaghetti (cooked al dente). their marinara sauce is amazing and they give you just enough for both the pasta and chicken.

think you can't eat at an italian place b/c you're cutting back on carbs? they serve low carb pasta which isn't chewy like the stuff they sell at the grocery store. yes, the texture is more rubbery than regular pasta but the delicious sauce makes up for it.

when they ask you for soup or salad - opt for the clam chowder. yes, this may take away from the italian experience but damn, is it good. oh, another thing - right after they seat you they put fresh baked bread on your table with a side of tomato and olive tapenade? mmm. goodness.

i would DEFINITELY recommend this place. if you are looking for perfect pasta at a great price - go here instead of pasta pomodoro please!
