Wednesday, November 7— The San Marcos Public Library’s new book club will meet at 1:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of November and December and move to the third Wednesday after the holidays. The first book the group will read and discuss is Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier. The December reading is The Map That Changed the World: William Smith and the Birth of Modern Geology by Simon Winchester. Everyone is welcome to attend.
