A Run for Porridge Fundraiser

Within our very own community, locals are banding together to support an important global cause. 
The problem: Street children in Rwanda are often homeless, without food, and without the ability to continue education. They have survived by begging, working small jobs, stealing, working for prostitutes, or digging in dangerous dumps. They have lived a life of constant exposure to the elements and danger. 
The solution: PORRIDGE
Why, porridge? Because it gives them with a meal that they can count… Show more on, which motivates them to stay in school providing them with an opportunity at a better future.
A Run for Porridge is hosted by our close friend, Shaun Sullivan. He has gathered a group of people that will be running from San Luis Obispo to San Francisco in 3 days in order to raise enough money to feed the entire Muhumurize Catch-up School porridge every day for a year.

Let's help them reach their goal! We are hosting a fundraiser at Rev SLO to help further their impact. The entry fee will be $10, which will serve as your donation. Once inside, help yourself to free beer and wine. 
There will also be a raffle drawing with many great prizes. Bring extra cash! Each raffle ticket will cost $2.00.
Although the event starts at 8:00pm, Rev SLO has graciously invited the public to attend any of the 5:30 or 6:40 fitness classes prior to the event.
