Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre

To be fair, the commedians that end up here go from really great to really bad, so I can't really critique the lineup, but I really don't like the way the place is run.

Booze here is ultra expensive, which I'm sure annoys the comedians, because really, that can make a HUGE difference in the success of your act. Also you would think if you were first in line you would get first shot at seats. Instead you are moved in order to fill seats from front to back. I know what your thinking, "That's not a bad thing." You're wrong. The seats up front are really close, granted, but they are also really uncomfortable and you are at an awkward level with the performer. Also, you will be facing your back to the rest of your party the whole show if you end up in the chairs on the other end of the table instead of the bench seats. So no good place to put your $9.00 BOTTLED Guiness either. The food is sub par, but that is forgivable because it's not a restaurant.

Basically, you want to be fashionably late, because the best seats are in the middle section where you have tables and all the seats are sideways. I mean even that leaves half the table with bad seats, but at least they will be comfortable and have someplace to rest their hands and their drinks/food.
