ASP-Hosted Astronomy and Space Science Lecture Series

The Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP) will host a series of lectures about space science, including: Dr. Lloyd Knox discussing an Image of the Infant Universe and the Planck Satellite. Dr. Pamela Marcum will discuss Exploring the Universe From 42,000 Feet: SOFIA. Brian Day will discuss Exploring the Lunar Environment. Dr. Christopher P. McKay will discuss the search for life on other planets, and Alex Filippenko, of UC Berkeley, will discuss Comet ISON and STEM Public Outreach
