Questions from the Sky: New Work by Hung Liu

Sunday, Sep 8, 2013 11:00a to 5:00p
San Jose Museum of Art San Jose, CA

Hung Liu contemplates the cycles of life, death, and memory in an installation of three videos. Simple images of burning candles, fallen deer and birds, Buddha's hand citrus fruit, and cloud formations poetically reflect Liu's state of mind in the years prior to her mother's death. Also included are site-specific wall paintings and a group of digital prints on aluminum.
