2-day free, self-guided tour of native plant gardens throughout Peninsula & Santa Clara Valley. SATURDAY: SOUTHERN GARDENS: Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Campbell, San Jose and south. SUNDAY: NORTHERN GARDENS: Palo Alto, Los Altos, Mountain View, and San Mateo County. The gardens are water-wise, low maintenance, low on chemical use, bird and butterfly friendly, and attractive. Plant sales and talks at select gardens. Space limited. Must register at www.gngt.org to receive garden addresses.
