Youth Performing Arts Camp - Session 4

This two-week, full-day, musical theater adventure was created for youth of all skill levels! Space is limited. Each day provides opportunities in process-based and student-focused workshops followed by afternoon rehearsals for a staged musical theater production. Each session concludes with three (3) public performances at Theatre on San Pedro Square, downtown San Jose. Enrollment open to ages 7-14. Note: Half-day option does not include participation in musical theatre production.

Session 4 will produce "Thwacked! A Fractured Tale of Frogs, Folks, and Falling Skies" the weekend of August 3rd. Talking frogs? A falling sky? A town full of confused folk? What is really happening and who can answer these questions? The librarian? The coach? The Mayor and town council? The sweet and smart-thinking Rachel? With song, dance, and a fast-moving script, "Thwacked" unfolds to reveal these and many other delightful characters as they attempt to unravel the mystery in their fairytale world. This musical delight s audiences with amusing dialogue, charming songs, and a clever story.
