Holiday Tree Harvest and Habitat Restoration

Saturday, Dec 8, 2012 10:00a to 1:00p

After a year of fun celebrations to honor the 40th anniversary of Marin County Parks, we’re topping things off with a very special and rare event in the San Geronimo Valley! The public will be allowed to select, cut, and take home their very own pine trees from the Maurice Thorner and Roy’s Redwoods open space preserves. Monterey pines are invading Valley preserves and degrading native habitat. This event is for everyone, especially families, and provides an opportunity for the public to help.
