No matter how old you are, their special exhibits as well as their more permanent ones are lots of fun. Highly interactive. If you're not careful, you could spend hours there.

The Exploratorium is a science museum effectively behind the Palace. It is a wonderful museum for kids with tremendous interactivity and much to learn. They work hard to keep up with modern science, and not simply by turning on some computers with cheap games. Bring your kids for the day, you'll have fun, they will learn more than you can imagine, and you can stroll by the palace and feed the ducks when you are done.
