Attention TV lovers!
Don't you agree that if you can stream it on your laptop, phone, or tablet, it should be able to be on your TV? Matchstick does too! That's why we partnered with Mozilla to create the first streaming stick built and certified for Firefox OS. Because Firefox OS is open and adaptable, it makes perfect sense for streaming online content like games, music, video, presentations (we could go on and on).
We’re super excited to showcase some of the amazing apps you can build with the… Show more powerful combination of open source hardware and software. So join us at Mozilla’s sweet San Francisco office to be among the first to check out what you can do with Matchstick.
With Matchstick’s open reference design, we’ve built an app ecosystem where you drive the economy. Firefox OS developers and Matchstick engineers will be on hand to show you how to build cool apps on Matchstick and give you all the tools you need to start coding right away.
Web developers- Matchstick's architecture was created with YOU in mind, so we especially want to see your sweet faces at this shindig. HTML5 is straightforward and devoid of the usual barriers that come with Android & iOS deployment. There's no limit to what you can create since it's all web based! Why would you want to miss this?
Besides some tasty bites, adult beverages, and sweet swag, qualified app developers will also get the developer version of Matchstick (for free!). So if you love to code for Firefox OS, XBMC, Chromecast, Boxee, (you name it), join us on November 18 in San Francisco.
