Eleanor Roosevelt wrote 2,336 letters to the great love of her life, Lorena Hickok. Inspired by those letters, The Crackpot Crones present Terry Baum in a solo play: HICK: a love story, by Terry Baum and Pat Bond.

Lorena Hickok was the most famous woman reporter of her day, when she was assigned to cover Eleanor Roosevelt, FDR's wife, during the 1933 Presidential campaign. Hick and Eleanor fell in love. It was the best and worst thing that ever happened to Hick. she chose to sacrifice her own career
