Graduate Lecture: Timothy Berry
Painter and printmaker Timothy Berry’s recent work continues a lifelong investigation of mankind’s contentious, yet appreciative relationship to nature. Using motifs from natural landscapes, he creates narratives of a paradise lost and flirts with patterned abstraction. His work results from a generative approach to printmaking that involves digital and analog techniques. His printmaking workshop, Teaberry Press, has worked with over 250 artists since 1974. Berry is Associate Professor at SFAI.
