The highly unique exhibition, which comprises pieces from the museum’s renowned permanent collection, will showcase the rich printmaking traditions of Mexico,dating back to the days of José Guadalupe Posada (1851–1913) through today’s modern graphic artists and printmakers. Posada is known as the grandfather of Mexican printmaking.
The two-part exhibition is made up of an historical and a contemporary section, and traces a narrative of Mexican and Latino graphic arts in the 20th Century.
