The Ape Woman is a Rock Opera written, composed, and adapted by May V. Oskan which examines the amazing, bizarre, and haunted journey of Victorian circus phenomenon Julia Pastrana. The work features twelve original songs, a seven piece band, and narration by four actors. It debuted this August on Martha's Vineyard to two sold out houses and a sold out encore performance.
