Shabbat Meditation Retreat (Two Days)
Observe the Sabbath by quieting the mind and body for self-renewal. Experience joy and fellowship as we practice silent meditation, eat silent meals, pray, read, study Torah and sing. Listen to teachings from Rabbi Jonathan Slater, Norman Fischer and Rabbi Dorothy Richman. No experience with meditation or knowledge of Hebrew necessary. All are welcome to participate.
The meditation practice of Makor Or is Jewish meditation that draws its technique from basic Zen meditation practice.
