Performers at this Event
Devo
Devo Remove performer from this event
One of new wave's most innovative and (for a time) successful bands, Devo was also perhaps one of its most misunderstood. Formed in Akron, OH, in 1972 by Kent State art students Jerry Casale and Mark Mothersbaugh, Devo took its name from their concept of "de-evolution" -- the idea that instead of evolving, mankind has actually regressed, as evidenced by the dysfunction and herd mentality of American society....
MUTEMATH
MUTEMATH Remove performer from this event
Taking cues from several decades of alternative rock, Mute Math (also known as MUTEMATH and MuteMath) fuse together New Order's synth-dance epics, the Stone Roses' shambling shuffle, Radiohead's chilliness, Air's ambient pop, and the booming vocals of mainstream pop/rock....
Shiny Toy Guns
Shiny Toy Guns Remove performer from this event
Although formed in sunny California during the early 2000s, Shiny Toy Guns' music flaunts a sleek, '80s-influenced combination of synth-pop and electro-clash. Founded in 2001 by bassist/keyboardist Jeremy Dawson and guitarist/vocalist Gregori Chad Petree -- both natives of central Oklahoma -- the band's lineup was fully realized with the addition of vocalist Carah Faye Charnow (who was brought aboard in 2004 to replace the departing Ursula Vari) and drummer Mikey Martin....
Family of the Year
Family of the Year Remove performer from this event
Sunny Los Angeles-based indie pop outfit Family of the Year formed in 2009 around the talents of Welsh brothers Joseph and Sebastian Keefe, Florida native James Buckey, and Orange County, California denizen Christina Schroeter....

These guys are not aging well

They look like bags of lard on stage

Fun Live - Lots of Energy!

Saw these guys perform at HP Pavilion last night during a quick 20 minute set. It was clear that they really enjoyed jamming together, and the lead singer was doing handstands and flips off his keyboard. Must have a limber spine!

Couldn't really understand the words because the sound was a little off. I'd like to see them again at a smaller venue.

Don't Miss This
