My Beloved Brontosaurus

Wednesday, Apr 17, 2013 6:00p to 7:30p

Author and dinosaur fanatic, Brian Switek, will be at the Main Library to discuss his new book: My Beloved Brontosaurus: On the Road with Old Bones, New Science, and Our Favorite Dinosaurs.

Switek reunites us with these mysterious creatures as he explores everything from the sex life of Apatosaurus and T. Rex’s feather-laden body to just why dinosaurs vanished. And he celebrates the book’s hero, “Brontosaurus”—who we learn never existed at all—as a symbol of scientific progress.
