During the month of March, de Young Artist Fellows Andy Diaz Hope and Laurel Roth exhibit their triptypch of tapestries, The Conflicts, which explores and illustrates the fundamental themes of conflict in literature. Their final piece, created during their yearlong fellowship at the museum, addresses the theme of "Human vs Him/Herself" by focusing on how human evolution has been driven by a combination of cooperation and competition in the face of conflict.
