Maurice Wren and his ensemble of “poetry troubadours” including Carol Fitzgerald,Gwynn O'Gara, Maya and Barry Specter, present an evening of verse by poets from around the world through the ages. These spontaneous, heartfelt recitations—all from memory—provide a feast for the senses. Enjoy the inspired words of Amiri Baraka, Matsuo Basho, Emily Dickenson, Seamus Heaney, Czeslaw Milosz, Anais Nin, Octavio Paz,Rumi,Alice Walker, Walt Whitman and more.
