The award-winning Elektra Women’s Choir from Canada visits San Francisco. For a quarter century this celebrated 40-voice choir has been a leader in women’s choral music in Canada and far beyond. The SF program features highlights from their recent Norwegian repertoire, works by Canadian composers, and San Francisco composer David Conte’s major work for women’s choir and piano "In Praise of Music." The choir also appears at the New Music for Treble Voices Festival in Palo Alto on April 7th.
