About the Program

Author Harry Brod (Superman Is Jewish? How Comic Book Superheros Came to Serve Truth, Justice, and the Jewish-American Way) and cartoonist Michael Capozzola engage in a lively and humorous conversation about the Jewish origins of Superman and other comic book heroes. Book sales and signing to follow.

Brod is a visiting Stanford scholar and Professor of Philosophy and Humanities at the University of Northern Iowa and served on the Board of Directors of Humanities Iowa.
