Girls on the Run 5th Annual Celebration

Celebrating Girls of the Bay Area - DREAM.LIVE.RUN.
Every year our organization gets together to not only celebrate our accomplishments, but to also hear from individuals in the local community who inspire us and have been impacted by sports in their life!
On April 18th we invite you to join us for this occasion and to hear from special guest -- 2011 USA Olympic Marathon Trials Competitor, Stanford Alumni and former heptathlete-- Ashley Carroll .

At Girls on the Run w e envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. All proceeds directly benefit Girls on the Run of the Bay Area to help with this cause. Specifically, your support helps us achieve our goal of bringing our program to all of the girls in the Bay Area. About the speaker
Ashley grew up in a suburb of Flint, Michigan and joined her junior high track team on a whim in 7th grade. She competed in a variety of events throughout junior high and high school, including the pole vault, an event in which she earned All-American honors. Following high school Ashley joined Stanford's track and field team as a pole vaulter and heptathlete. Today, as an Internet-sector product leader, Ashley continues to run in her spare time. In 2012, she competed in the Us Olympic Marathon Trials.
