Humanities West presents Bernini’s Rome: Art and Architecture of the Baroque, a two-day program of lectures, discussions, and music exploring 17th-century Rome to reveal the astonishing outburst of creativity and the triumphant masterworks of the Baroque Age. The panel is made up of scholars from Princeton, Berkeley, Davis, College of Marin, University of Texas, and SF Opera. Musical performance by Corey Jamason on harpsichord, with lutist Richard Savino, and soprano Céline Ricci.
