Come to the Water: Teaching San Francisco Black History continues Saturdays at the theater of the Visitor Center of the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park at Hyde and Jefferson in the Argonaut Hotel building at 11 a.m. on Feb. 9, 16, 23 March 2 and March 5 at 3:30 p.m.

The course is based on the book Come to the Water: Sharing the Rich Black Experience in San Francisco by John William Templeton, also author of Our Roots Run Deep: the Black Experience in California, Vols. 1-4.
