San Francisco Bluegrass And Old-Time Festival: Brothers Comatose + Arann Harris & the Farm Band + Willy Tea Taylor

Saturday, Feb 16, 2013 9:00p
The Chapel San Francisco, CA

Literal brothers, Alex (banjo & vocals) and Ben Morrison (guitar & vocals) of The Brothers Comatose grew up in a house that was known for its music parties.Despite their name, the band is anything but Comatose. They toss alligators(inflatable)into the crowd, they hand out chopsticks for audience-percussion-participation, & are known to jump down and play acoustic encores in the middle of the crowd at the end of a set.

Brothers Ben (guitar and vocals) and Alex Morrison (banjo and vocals) along with high school friends Gio Benedetti (upright bass) and Joe Pacini (mandolin) played many a front-stoop hoedown in the city by the bay and took the Brothers Comatose to the next level (living rooms and dive bars) when classical violin conservatory graduate Philip Brezina was added as the final piece to the puzzle....

Willy Tea Taylor co-fronts The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit with Chris Doud and regularly performs his solo material. Arann Harris & the Farm Band We make pesticide free music. No overdubs, no edits, RAW. Like conventional farming, our belief is that the creation of music has become overproduced, poisoned by progress and ignores where we have come from....
