PAUL KOS: Allegories and Metaphors
Friday, Jan 25 4:30p
San Francisco Art Institute
San Francisco,
CA
Since the early 1970s, Paul Kos has challenged conventions of art media and subject matter. For a global audience, he staged new possibilities for artistic treatments of time, space, and cultural systems. His interests address basic relationships between the artist and the creative process. Included in this investigation are elementary dialogues between man and nature, and the individual and social constructs. Both joy and paradox are unearthed in his mining of the everyday.
