San Francisco Ballet: Raymonda Act III, Ibsen's House, Symphonic Dances

This exciting mixed bill features Rudolf Nureyev’s sparkling Raymonda Act III and Val Caniparoli’s Ibsen’s House, a dramatic tour-de-force inspired by the work of iconic Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen, whose works—including Hedda Gabler, A Doll’s House, and Ghosts—radically challenged Victorian ideals about marriage, gender, and the place of women in society. This program also includes Edwaard Liang’s Symphonic Dances which debuted in 2012.
