John Handy 80th Birthday Celebration

Event will include a 2pm VIP Champagne Reception that will be followed by a musical Tribute hosted by JAZZ 91.1/KCSM-FM radio personality Sonny Buxton. The day is also a Fifth Anniversary Celebration and fundraiser for the Jazz Heritage Center, which is committed to preserving the history of jazz in San Francisco and especially the Fillmore.

Artist, curator and former Kearney Street Executive Director Nancy Hom will curate a John Handy exhibit opening in the Koret Heritage Lobby adjacent to Yoshi’s that same day.
