What is DevBootcamp:
Dev B ootcamp trains highly motivated individuals in web application development . We teach best prac tic es in Ruby, Rails, J ava S cript, Object - Oriented Design, Git, S QL, and Test - Driven Development . Our learning env ir onment includes pair programming, project based discovery, and a relentless focus on teamwork. At the completion of the 10 week program, students will have spent at least 500 hours in a hands - on, intensive learning environment, coding solutions to real… Show more problems and wo r king on real projects .
Employer Day:
At the end of the program, Dev B ootcamp conducts a series of Employer Days. A pproximately 50 companies will be invited to meet with and interview the graduates . Employers are encouraged to set up interviews with graduates. In exchange for direct access to this recruiting event, Dev B ootcamp expect s a hiring commission equivalent to 20% of the student's first year 's salary, payable if a company hires any students in conjunction with the employer day. Our graduates are in high demand. From our previous cohort, 95% of the graduates were offered positions and satsifaction surveys of employers and employees after 3 months ha ve been extremely positive.

Who are the students?
Each of the 53 students at D ev B ootcamp was individually selected out of a pool of hundreds of applicants . Students were selected based on motivation, aptitude for learning how to program and interpersonal skills . Students come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, including experience in corporate business, engineering, education, entrepreneurs hip, law and other professional disciplines. There is also a small contingent of college students who have taken D ev B ootcamp to enhance their career opportunities. T he Dev B ootcamp Fall cohort is a pool of top notch, dedicated, proven learners who have the requisite skills to make immediate contributions as junior-level developers.
Who are the staff?
The team at D ev B ootcamp ha ve extensive experience with software development, c oding, teaching, and group facilitation. Many have developed software applications in both startup and corporate environments .
