It is the summer of 1978, a month before the Camp David peace accords, but Michal cannot be distracted by world affairs. Her seven-year-old daughter has yet to learn how to read and write, and her father, who has been missing for 20 years, suddenly returns, bringing with him the family’s dark past and hidden secrets.
