Grace Cathedral celebrates its Inaugural Artist in Residence program this winter with actor and playwright Anna Deavere Smith and the premiere of her newest work,
On Grace.
Commissioned by Grace Cathedral, On Grace explores the meaning of grace. Presented in two intimate engagements inside Grace Cathedral, On Grace also features renowned cellist Joshua Roman.
Proceeds from this 60 minute performance will benefit arts and cultural events at Grace Cathedral.

Joshua Roman has generated quite a buzz in the Seattle music scene – and rightfully so! Dubbed a “Classical Rock Star” by the press, Joshua has been Principal Cello for the Seattle Symphony and the Artistic Director of TownMusic, the recital series at Seattle’s Town Hall, where he performed to standing-room-only crowds.
