2013 Foursquare Chaplains Conference and Training

Our 2013 Chaplains Conference and Training is coming soon! The Conference and Training provides opportunities for each chaplain's personal and professional skills to be honed and sharpened as well as for networking. This year's theme will be Built to Last and will focus on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and self-care. You will receive 12 Continuing Education (CE) hours from the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) for attending this training. Robby Booth, our Chaplain of Spiritual Care,… Show more and Ray Houk, our Navy Chaplains Coordinator, will both be speaking at this event. Discussion sessions for the military and institutional/industrial chaplains will also be presented to further fine-tune each division's unique endorsement requirements and ministerial challenges. These divisions include military chaplains (Air Force, Army, Navy in active duty, reserve, and national guard components, as well as Civil Air Patrol and military chaplain candidates) and institutional/institutional chaplains (Hospital, Hospice, Fire, Police, Prison and Specialized). There will also be times where our leadership will direct times of chaplaincy coverage and accountability, fellowship, encouragement, as well as chaplaincy family connections, unique fields of ministry and a bonding of purpose and mission.
This Chaplains Conference is designed primarily for Foursquare chaplains, chaplain candidates and their spouses, but all who are interested are invited to attend. The cost of the training includes two meals (Thursday lunch and dinner). We pray that you can be a part of this, as our gatherings are always an awesome time of strengthening fellowship, ministry, and training.
