The Che Cafe is a community space, DIY venue, vegan cafe, resource center for radical grassroots activists, and a whole lot more. We put on all ages shows, serve tasty vegetarian food and host numerous political and social events. The Che Cafe is "owned" and run by a non-hierarchical worker's collective - no bosses! The Che is a great place to meet and hang out with other people who envision a better world.
The Che Cafe Collective is committed to radical social change and equality. Our community works to create itself as an alternative while, at the same time, attempting to open a space for and support other grass-roots organizations.

Definitely more for college students or hippies? Located at the West side of campus, the Che Cafe can't be missed. There's a campus loop shuttle stop (clockwise shuttle) right across from the cafe - there's probably a counter clockwise one as well. The cafe is decorated with various paintings. But what makes the Che Cafe feel like home is the laid back type of atmosphere and the bands that come to play.
The venue is a little small, so if you want to see a popular band playing you may want to arrive earlier to make sure you get in.
They also serve vegan food.
