For 17 dollars you get some fossils and some recreations of dinosaurs displayed in little real floor space. There is almost no attempt at explanation or chronology. In fact the place is almost devoid of science. It is a children's museum without the label and certainly way overpriced. It appears to be 4 floors but 3 of them are nothing but walkways. That is it. A fourth floor with horse photos around the stairs. A third with skulls of living creatures in cases again without explanation. And then special exhibits at an extra price. Your entry fee gets you 20 minutes of lightweight diversion that is outdone at many small town exhibits. Shocking.
There was a borrowed examination on horses in the basement. It seemed hidden. It was the best thing in the place. Other than that there is nothing. No geology. No ethnology. No archeology. No gy's of any sort. And almost no use of technolo-gy to attempt to make up for the failings in display. SKIP IT.
