Congregation Dor Hadash Community Bakeoff
Every year for Purim the CDH community gather at our synagogue to bake Hamantashen as a fundraiser and to provide the tasty treats to organizations throughout San Diego. We invite you to this unique and fun event on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A hamantash is a pastry recognizable for its three-cornered shape. It is traditionally eaten during the Jewish holiday of Purim. Hamantashen are made with many different fillings, including poppy seed, prunes, apricot, apple and chocolate.
