Malashock: Contemporary II - Ages 11-14 with Stephanie Harvey

Contemporary II is a technique class designed to encourage the technical and artistic growth. Class begins with a thorough warm-up to strengthen the core and muscles for work in parallel and rotation. Principles explored will include contraction and release, footwork, floor work, inversions, spiral, spine sequencing, weight-shifts, and the use of breath and dynamics. Basic contemporary partnering skills will also be introduced.
