Inspired by the landscape of the West and the architecture of mid-century modernism, Jim Skalman will merge the two in a sculptural installation that will fill most of SDSU's Downtown Gallery. Skalman will also be working in response to the architectural space of the Gallery, the resulting work will be a site-specific installation that includes sound. Visitors can expect to visit and watch the artist as he creates his installation until mid-September.
