Exhibition: Robert Indiana: The Mother of Us All

Wednesday, Feb 12 10:00a to 4:00p
McNay Art Museum San Antonio, TX

This exhibition includes both a selection of Robert Indiana’s cut-paper scene and scene designs and six felt costumes for The Mother of Us All, Gertrude Stein and Virgil Thomson’s pioneering American opera inspired by the life of Susan B. Anthony. Still timely today, Indiana’s scene and costume designs introduce The Mother of Us All to a new generation.
