Exhibition: Printed in San Antonio
Tuesday, Feb 19 10:00a

McNay Art Museum
San Antonio,
TX
The title of this show says it all: the works were all printed in San Antonio, some within walking distance of the museum, and some actually printed on the McNay’s grounds at the former San Antonio Art Institute. With one of the longest printmaking traditions in the state of Texas, San Antonio also had some of the earliest lithography shops, established in the 1800s. This exhibition celebrates that history with works drawn entirely from the McNay’s collection.
