This is a great spot for lunch. A two item bento box costs a mere $7.95 and comes with quality ingredients. No cheap sashimi here. Good beer specials and a wide array of nigiri and specialty rolls makes this my favorite sushi spot in San Mateo. Perfect for the crowds of professionals that descend upon the downtown area during lunch.

I was amazed of the sizes that the sushi rolls were made here. Excellent... there were many varieties of sushi rolls.. makes you want to come back and try the rest.

The Sushi rolls are great, many to choose from. They were big ones that fills up your stomach. Too bad there's no floating boat where you can just grab them and eat. Still outstanding food, all the food came fast. You get a bowl of salad and miso soup early in your order. =] ICHIBAN!
